The Fred Hutchinson president and director explains why he's so optimistic about finding cures for cancer.
Dr. Gary Gilliland, of the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, says he “took some flak” for predicting the strides that cancer researchers will make in cancer treatment in the near future. “By 2025, cancer researchers will have developed curative, therapeutic approaches for most, if not all, cancers,” he has said.
