Paul Hawken is an author, sustainability expert, and entrepreneur working to improve the way we work and live while reversing global warming.

Paul Hawken starts ecological businesses, advises heads of state and business leaders on environmentally friendly practices, and writes about the relationship between nature and commerce.

His latest book, “Drawdown: The Most Comprehensive Plan Ever to Reverse Global Warming,” is a New York Times bestseller and has been translated into fourteen other languages. He is the founder of Project Drawdown, which brings together more than 200 scientists, students, and climate activists to find the top one hundred most effective solutions to reverse global warming.

As an Emerson Collective Fellow, he will be working on “Regeneration: Ending the Climate Crisis in One Generation,” a follow-up to “Drawdown,” which will explore the possibilities for regenerating and transforming how human beings work and live for the better, while reversing climate change.
