Unsolicited Submission Policy

To the extent that any communication to Emerson Collective includes any submission, we appreciate the effort undertaken in submitting to us for our use such ideas, programs, slogans, scripts, titles, plans, suggestions, or other literary, dramatic and/or musical compositions (hereinafter, collectively referred to as “Material”). However, we often receive Material that duplicates efforts made previously by members of our own staff or by other third parties, or we may have already used Material similar to the material being submitted which was previously submitted by others, or we may commence using Material similar to the material being submitted that we receive after the date of such submission. As a result of the legal and business complexities, we regret that it has become necessary for us to adopt a strict policy against accepting or considering any unsolicited Material submitted to us. The terms of this policy are set forth below.

Unsolicited Submission Policy

With respect to submissions of original ideas, proposals, and creative works, Emerson Collective operates exclusively by referral. Please do not submit any unsolicited original ideas, proposals, or creative works in any form to Emerson Collective or any of its employees. The sole purpose of this policy is to avoid potential misunderstandings, disputes, or lawsuits that may arise when Emerson Collective produces or publishes materials that might appear to be similar or identical to unsolicited materials submitted to Emerson Collective. If, despite our request that you not send us your ideas, proposals, and creative works, you still submit them, then regardless of what your letter says, the following terms shall apply to your submissions.

Terms of Unsolicited Submissions

You agree that: (1) your submissions and their contents will automatically become the property of Emerson Collective, without any compensation to you; (2) there is no obligation for Emerson Collective to review, consider, or otherwise use the submission; (3) Emerson Collective may use or redistribute the submissions and their contents for any purpose and in any way; and (4) there is no obligation to keep any submissions confidential.
